Fantastic little adventure! <3 I loved the graphic style especially. :)

Absolutely adored this game! We need more abalog indie games that lean more on to what this game did. Exploration, collection, and mroe about the world design. I actually really enjoyed this and would love to have an extended version.

An absolute blast loved it just like all of your other previous games! Looking forward to what you make next! Awesome job!

This was such a beautiful and whimsical game. I LOVED the creature designs and really enjoyed the gameplay throughout. The atmosphere was incredible, and the world design was genuinely impressive. Easily one of my favourite games I’ve played so far! I’d love to see future projects expand on this world.

Hello, I played this game, and I really enjoyed it! Good work :)

This game looks so quirky and fun! Can’t wait to test it in-browser if it’s available in the future.

Loved it. What a rich environment to explore. Would have been nice if the character had more air control. The framerate seems jittery. It was less bad when I turned off dithering, I don't know if the "PS wobble" effect had something to do with it. Really clever interpretation of the jam theme. The insects as resources felt very natural.

Can't download the post jam version on Chromium based browsers, it's being flagged that has a virus by the browser. Was able to download normally on Firefox.

Edit: Was not able to play it, OS itself flags the zip as virus/containing a virus and delete it. - Trojan:Script/Sabsik.FL.A!ml

VirusTotal has no problems with it when scanned. https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/d36a1a411e3ba9b9d5c2a522171b64b87cf2598f2255...

I have the same issue, I had deleted it and still says I have the virus

For a game that took 3 days to make, I was left impressed. It may be small, but the world was quite unique in it's own way. I really hope you expand upon this small world you created someday. Keep up the good work and take care.

Good Work!

pretty good really like the aesthetic really struggled at the end keeping those big guys from stealing my shit

(+1)(-1)

This was worth the wait. I never thought that the insects would to out to be use for resources, like iron and copper for example. Another amazing game you made dude. Keep it up.

(+1)(-1)

This is a really cool and unique game. I definitely enjoyed the aesthetic. It was engaging enough that I ended up just trying to find all the bugs and the goose too.
Super impressive that it was done in three days.

The foreshadowing(and by that I mean it's legit amazing)

Any chance of this using vulkan and having native linux (same as Buckshot roulette)?

Love your games bro!!  I just sent you a big hug! I hope it finds you well!

Wow! What a unique game for only 3 days of time, great work! It really did intrigue me with the whole idea. Great game!

Metal Undergrowth has a nice but also off-putting atmosphere, which I really enjoy. It is really short, I finished it in less than an hour but I still enjoyed it. Gameplay overall was really enjoyable.

I also got both endings and I found the Goose :)

This is definitely another cool game of yours, Kenforest! I especially love the designs for the various creatures! Keep up the excellent work!

AMAZING THAT THIS WAS MADE IN ONLY 3 DAYS!!

SORRY MY CAPS LOCK BROKE

ANOTHER BANGER!! Love the concept of this one and how horrifying the miracle of life can be also WHAT DO YOU MEAN AN ENGINE CAME TO LIFE???

Great game!

After I realized I could use rockets to fly, I obviously completed the game by farming rockets and flying to the green doors.

I love your games.

i found the bug in the game (bug:)). When you in the shop monitor and the big fly aproach player gets off the shop and can no longer use the shop. Maby its only me, please check it.

After it flies away, you should be able to interact with the monitor again. Are you sure it still doesn’t work after that?

no i need to restart the game and start all over again

I loved the game! You have made so many super good games it’s crazy.

I see you have been struggling with the virus detection. I always have the same problem with unity where the code editor sometimes adds a “Using …” something, things like “Using System;” can trigger the virus detection. (All of the library System, things like System. Collections.Generic is fine).

Look through some of your scripts and removed unused dependencies, that always fixed it for me.

You are an inspiration for me, I hope you keep making cool stuff!

Thank you very much, I’ll try that.

Very good game KenForest, I love the style of your 1st person games, you are an inspiration for me, I want develop games similar of yours, atmospheric and with simple ideas. I have one game published on steam but I studying what next I will do.

You can talk how you did this vertex snapping on unity 6? you use some addon or made your own shaders? I was adapting the URP-PSX library of Kodrin to do this, but not working very well on URP 17 and I needed adapt code.

Thank you, I’m using this pack https://leakyfingers.itch.io/retro-3d-shader-pack-for-unity, it’s for the Built-in Render Pipeline.

Nice, thanks for sharing.

The same thing happen to me. My computer is getting the message that there is a virus that was detected and couldn't download it. First time for me. Hopefully he'll get the situation all figured out.

I really want to play the game.

Not sure why, but don’t worry, there are no viruses here.

Yes, it's normal for executables that not signed by Microsoft, I played here and nothing happens

Want to play the game ,as it looks fantastic! But my computer detected a virus, and i can sense that our fellow companions in this comment section, also shares this issue...

This is excellent! Great atmosphere, creepy vibes, simple, yet satisfying. Very weird. Kind of chill too, but requires some skill without being overly frustrating. This is one I'd kinda like to see made into a full game because it feels like there could be so much more and a story!

I just realized I'm a fan of your itch.io games. Loved the game with seed packets that were used to grow bugs in a weird basement lab (Creature Packets), and that one where you walked into photographs (Liminal Gallery), and the one where you were on an elevator and doing stuff but had to make sure your finger didn't get too hot (Red Finger). LIDAR is cool too.

Kind of amazing how you can create such a cool and unique vibe in your games.

One question/suggestion if you expand Metal Underground, since part of the fun was finding out the names of the bugs,.. Trying for no spoilers in my comment, what's the name of the only bug you can't collect? Maybe that's something that could be revealed somehow at the game end. A big part of the fun of your games is discovering not only how to play them, but the world you create for each of them, even if we only get to spend a small amount of time in them.

Forgot to mention, thanks for making your games optimized and playable even on a potato computer like I have. I like the style too, but I also like the playable framerate. :)

Thank you so much! Really appreciate it, glad you enjoy my games.
I didn’t give the uncollectable bug a name, but it’s something like a mix between a giant fly and a vacuum cleaner. Great to hear the game runs well for you!

(+1)(-1)

This was fun!

aw, i was hoping to get an interesting ending after leaving through the door :( nice game, but jittering effect feels so bad. atmosphere and creature's design really works.

It indeed feels like there's some jittering other then intended psx vertex snapping, feels like Unity physics jitter...
