Red Finger
A downloadable game for Windows
A short horror experience in which you operate an elevator in an old research complex, in which the working conditions are... questionable.
The game was made in 72 hours for Ludum Dare 57 on the theme "Depths".
Very much inspired by the game White Knuckle, in fact it even turned out to be some kind of parody in the end.
Controls:
- wasd - move
- lmb - interact

Also, I have another game that's already available on Steam. Check it out if you're interested.

Una grande idea alla base di questo short horror che si fa giocare fino alla fine. Meriterebbe una versione più lunga su Steam. Ottimo lavoro.
my finger hurt :D this iy my Italian gameplay
I love the art style you have, from LIDAR, Call To Summon, to Red Finger. The pixelated and dithered style is really nice!
The gameplay is simple, just push buttons and enter codes, yet it works and it sets a eerie atmosphere. The element that you cannot hold things down indefinitely and need to cool down your finger is really interesting, as it adds a challenge to it, especially when the scanner/robot appears.
For being made in 72 hours, this is really good and feels solid!
My finger sure was red at the end of the shift xD
I didn't get what the red hand meant lol.. I thought it wanted the goose
very cool concept for a game, had a very fun time
Pretty interesting game! I wonder what the codes were for and what that robot dragon thing was! Always a fan of kenforest games! Great job!
Gameplay BR
A simple and nice game, it's perfect !
really enjoyed the game - simple yet perfectly crafted! 3:53

Hi, I'm interested in translating this game to brazilian portuguese, so hit me up when you can. I would also translate your other game, and I thought it was interesting that it featured lidar, as it's a technology that was in a non fiction book I've read recently.
Amazing game enjoyed it definitely looking forward to play more of your games
Hello kenforest!
First of all, congratulations on releasing Red Finger, it was a short but very interesting experience which I would love to see more of (but the short burst itself is already quite effective).
I was wondering if you would be interested in working on a localisation, namely for French audiences? As a French translator myself, I would love to contribute in making this short game more approachable to other folks. That goes without saying, I would love to help on LiDar, if that is something you would be interested in of course.
Thanks again for putting your efforts into this game, it shows! And I'm definitely eager to get more accustomed to your other works!
Regards, Marceau.
This is easily one of my favourite games to have played this year, I know I'm a bit late to the party but I'd love if you made another game in this style (I'll be checking out Lidar exploration system as well!)
Tried out your game!
- I loved the concept of this game, which involves doing everything with your finger. A few thrills are guaranteed during this short playtime. Kudos to the developer.
style in this game is peak
Honestly I beat the game on the first try because when that elevator was shaking I instantly turned those lights off and I was right ☠️Big robot camera is not getting me. Also what is the goose for? Does pressing it do anything except making a sound :/?
Okay wow, for a game made in 72 hours this was awesome! Loved every second of it! When that metal thing appeared by the elevator I didn't know what to do at first but I figured it out. Would definitely recommend this game to anyone who is reading these comments.
Alright left me confused a lil but but worth it!.. wish it was a bit more longer tho ahaha
loved the style
W game, love the atmosphere, great rustic cold and creepy vibe!
This was such a great game up until the ending. Took the wind out of my sails. I was having a great time and getting really into the gameplay loop.
Either way, excited to see what else you make in the future.
This is my playthrough of it and it was the 4th game we played. Starts around 38:45
Nice game my friend, keep them coming !
This game was very fun to play!! I enjoyed it.
Just a fun short game.
Very good game!
This is really cool!
I would love to see more games like this:)
LOVED
Good game! It is crazy how you can make everything in like what was it, 3 days? That is 3 days for graphics, controls, special events, intuitive layout, foley, it is crazy. Yes it could be touched up a little, but that does not mean that this isn't a great game and an even greater achievement. Good job KenForest, I hope that if I ever design a game I could make it as both cohesive and understandable as this.
Nice Game, a few suggestions I have:
Id like to see more of this game, maybe deeper levels, and also randomly generated numbers for the "gates"
The jumpscare could be a tad bit better
The graphics are really nice though!
Thanks for making the Game!
Great game!
