i know im the 100 person to say this but ill say it anyways, this is such a cool concept for a game, not knowing you environment, and having to scan through it all just made the experience alot more scarier, also i had a lot of fun tryning to scan everything. great game, keep up the work!

i forgot to mention the game starts at 11;23

truly a amazing and one of a kind game this game was extremely fun and interesting to play i loved it keep up the good work

OMG THIS GAME WAS PHENOMENAL! I have never played a game with such a unique mechanic, and I was engaged the whole time. This is one of the best horror games I've played so far!

I absolutely Loved this Game!

I saw it on youtube some time ago! I love this concept, would it be possible to also compile the game to webGL? I would love to also be able to play it in the browser

Hey I finally got around to making this. I liked the concept of the game and found it to be fun. The only thing I would change is maybe a monster that shows up when scanning sometimes as well. Something to match the prints.

THE EVIL SHADOWS ARE HIDING IN THE DARKNESS!

Very interesting and creepy game... I like the idea that we need to scan the environment before we can do anything in this game. And those evil shadows are just scary!

Loved the game!

thought this was really cool

This was by far the best mechanic ive seen in a horror game! If executed correctly and a story, itd be dope! Keep it up! I think u got something going on here!

Just pretend my mouth is open and I look scared/surprised. Seriously though, great game. Awesome mechanic. Good atmosphere. Cheers.

I really liked the game, I thought the setting was very good and different, it would be nice to see more of this

This was such a cool horror game to play! The unknowing and constant fear was incredible! I love this concept and would love to see it used more in the future for other horror games! Such a great job!

HANDS DOWN, ONE OF THE BEST HORROR GAME CONCEPTS.

THIS BLEW ME AWAY!  SO FRIGGIN COOL!

Nice game.

VERY cool concept!  I'm sure I missed a ton though.

Very cool mechanic. I have no idea what killed me xD

I really like this game but why the shadow man came for me 3 times 🤣 !!!!! It is also very terrifying for me because it remind me of a nightmare when I was younger. Really love the concept and everything.

this is easily one of the best little games ive played, i played what im pretty sure is the first game that used the concept of lidar, scanner sombre, and i feel like this  game, although short, was very good with the mechanic and i hope to see more, it felt as though it was just getting good. great job on this!

You might not see them, but they certainly see you

I don't really know what im doing here lmao

Man, this game's getting some hate in the comments! idk, I liked it. Interesting mechanic... Anyone else feel like they're playing splatoons?

Check out my video :)

This game was terrifying and I don't usually get super scared of games. The sounds were nice, the environment was interesting, 10/10 scary game!

♥ love you guys ♥

I like it, I wish it didn't crash frequently.  "abnormal program termination" on the command-line is the only error.

Sorry for this. At what point did your game crash? Maybe you created too many points.

Seems to be the case.  After the first crash I was more circumspect with using the LIDAR, which I could do because I remembered the layout from before the crash so I could walk around blind.  Past the first door the level is just so huge I doubt I could keep myself using less than a dozen scans.  I doubt it's your fault, more likely some limitation with either Unity or my video card drivers.

I was stuck in the roots on second stage. And kind Samaritan is scared to help me ;<
Its just dead end.

Here the video

Thanks, i will fix it later.

huh, a game that actually jumpscared me

This would be amazing in VR, Any chance of that happening?

Unfortunately I can't do it because I don't have VR. But there is a full-fledged game with the same concept in which there is support for VR, it's Scanner Sombre.

This looks so good! Are there plans on Windows 11 support or macOS 11 upwards?

This isn't the first "Lidar" game that I've played, however, this is THE MOST INTERESTING one! I was invested from the start until the end and each turn is a mystery on what you will see next! So incredibly unique!

Th
The concept is SO cool!

The concept of this game is really great! Exploring a world by scanning it and getting the geometrical structure of it was pretty fun to explore and experience. This has a lot more potential and I feel like a lot more could be added; like objects and other texts or clues around the walls (Especially on the second part, got really lost and confused there.), and there were more opportunities for scares (Though I can image the hell it would be to code that *thinking emoji*.) but it was still very fun and well done!

Thanks for playing. Yes, in fact, you can add a lot of interesting things here, but I did it as an experiment and did not want to spend a lot of time on this project. You can check game Scanner Sombre, it's a complete game with the same concept.I watched your video and I think you have a record for the number of dots.

You might not see them but they can see you...

Pretty interesting concept! I could totally see it being used in more horror games!

WHOAH. Awesome idea. Incredible execution. Fantastic visuals. Loved the whole thing- it had me wanting more in this world.

I loved the mechanic, it was great and I'd love to play a longer version with this style, great job :)

i gotta play it again, i was enjoying the game until i got to the second level, it did not take me long to accidentally go outside of the map thinking it was a secret from the dev.
