I'm very interested in games like this! However, I am on macOS, so unfortunately, I am unable to play. Curious if you have any plans to port this to other platforms at some point?
I love this game but I wish there was saves in the game because my game crash like four times and I had to keep redoing it and it just annoys me to do it over and over again but really good still
I cannot recommend Viewfinder enough, and seeing this game made me so happy that more people are considering making more games with similar mechanics. There's so much potential, and using it for a game about liminal spaces was a neat idea! I'd say definitely expand on it!
The developer explicity states that the idea is from viewfinder on this page. In my opinion the game does far more than enough to make a novel experience. And it's for free. Props for making a new account just to comment tho lol
Yeah I don't do this often but let me dogpile in on this, in this particular instance striking the game as being uncreative is just bad form. So what if it uses the same mechanic, it's a really cool mechanic and unlike most game out there. It's honestly incredible this dev was able to replicate it, might as well rip on all platforming games for not inventing jumping while you are at it. Oh and that username, super petty. If I didn't know better I'd suspect a salty dev was hiding behind it...
Doesn't work well on trackpad - they don't work well with trying to do two mouse inputs at once. Would have liked remappable controls to work around this, but is what it is. Shame because I think I would have really liked this otherwise.
This game is very abstract and interesting. The gameplay itself is very smooth and well optimized, and the mechanics are very cool. I made a video if you're interested, it is the first game I play.
The places where we proceeded to set up paintings made me feel the abyss and play in a cold sweat. The inside of the painting of the sea with ducks was particularly chilling.
The puzzle element was very enjoyable in the places where I took pictures and connected the paths!
Really nice game. Tricky because my depth perception is bad. But also I feel like how would the camera know what's behind the objects you're taking photos of? But once I accepted it's more like copying the space in front of you, got the hang of it. Neat concept, would be interesting to see a more complex game that builds off of this mechanic.

This Game was so fun amazing gameplay
very cool horror twist, like nightmare viewfinder! the atmosphere was very liminal, sound design was great, puzzles challenging yet solvable, 9/10
Fun stuff, interesting puzzles are a change of pace but good quality as usual
